The Faries Cleaning Services has a vacancy open for an experienced Gardener in Hillcrest. The employment decision will be informed by the Employment Equity Plan and Workforce Profile requirements. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, cleaning of bins, watering of plants, cutting of lawn and verges, pruning and general garden duties. To take care of all equipment and to ensure that they are in working order. Inform supervisors of any damages. Deal with complaints and requests with politeness. To check stock and consumables levels and replace when it is needed. Adhere to all rules on health and safety and any other rules that the client has put in place.

Matric/ Grade 12

The ideal candidate must have general cleaning experience with traceable references. Be able to work without any supervision and still maintain the high standards that Fairies have put in place. Time management skills and basic knowledge of the English language.

The ideal candidate must be friendly, helpful, communicate well and be physically strong as the job is physically demanding.
