The Faries Cleaning Services has Three vacancies open for School Cleaners to work half day. The employment decision will be informed by the Employment Equity Plan and Workforce Profile requirements. It is the company's intention to promote equity (race, gender, and disability) through the filling of this position with a candidate who’s transfer/promotion/ appointment will promote representativity.

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing. Also ensure that toilets are cleaned on a regular basis. The kitchen is cleaned. To take care of all equipment and to ensure that they are in working order. Inform the supervisor of any damages. Deal with complaints and requests with politeness. To check stock and consumables levels and replace when it is needed. Adhere to all rules on health and safety and any other rules that the client has put in place.

Candidates must have Matric / grade 12.

The ideal candidate must have general cleaning experience with traceable references. Be able to work without any supervision and still maintain the high standards that Fairies have put in place. Time management skills and basic knowledge of the English language. 

The ideal candidate must be friendly, helpful, communicate well and be physically strong as the job is physically demanding.
